Great Monday morning to all of you!

Free Spirit designs by Maday does a lot of things; sew, volunteer, plant, teach and if I can do it, you know it, I will give it my best shot.

Today I wrap up many months of planning and information gathering by having our ribbon cutting ceremony at the volunteer garden downtown Boo. The Garden had a very successful 2nd year. I can't wait to see how winter treats it and what we can do to make it better and definitely more dynamic.

Below I'm sharing a photo of a piece that I created for the 2014 Fall Art Tour that I decided to submit to my first ever contest at the annual Madison Quilt Expo. Photos from that event will come at a later post. Suffice it to say that seeing it hanging amidst great talent, made my heart jump for joy. I have been sewing for 6 years!

Every day we plant seeds and it is extremely fulfilling to see some of those reach their full potential.

I will leave you with photos from my recent home studio "facelift." I have been collecting boxes, baskets, metal baskets and shelving for the last 4 years. Many of them were found in downtown Baraboo from local shops and sunday market vendors. Also from Heart to Heart, I have collected amazing decorative and functional "flour" sacks.

Shelving system from Menards, allows you to make it as big and wide as you like. I love that the drawers can be taken out as well.

Trestles and table top from Ikea with shelves! This is my favorite new addition to the organizing-rama.

Metal Shelving Unit - great shape and sturdy. Found at RavenHouse, downtown Baraboo yesterday during the Sunday Market hours.

Affordable Clip On Lamps from Menards with LED bulbs. I love them!

My Favorite Find from the WI Quilt Expo! See through pouch to put my contest Art Quilt inside and keep dust Free.

Part of the Studio. Big table to the right from McGann Furniture in downtown Baraboo. A complete bargain and superb table with storage underneath for the table leaves. I always watch out for specials or call to see if they have something that will suit my space.

BIG, tall floor lamps with Tons of adjustability.

Please tell me what you think and feel free to share some of your organizing ideas with me as well.

I hope you have a great week and are able to find time to do the things you love!

Cheers!
