"And Suddenly you know...it's time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings."
I have had the fortune of knowing a few of the participants and volunteers that made the 3rd Annual Baraboo's Big Top Parade & Circus Celebration a shining success!
When you see the effort, love, dedication and sheer determination of the countless hours dedicated to this event, you can't help but feel like this is a big deal.
I will not go into the details or pretend I know the inner workings of a circus; I'm not here to discuss that. I'm here to offer but a very small observation of how this town, came together to celebrate an aspect of it's history with class and pride.
I live on a very busy street and it was filled with cars; sidewalks with passersby. More importantly, the children were eager and able to walk the blocks to get to the courthouse in the heat!
Everyone seemed to enjoy this beautiful day and the residents were proud to share it with many, many visitors.
My hat is off to all the contributors, business owners, friends and volunteers for making this day, a day to remember. I can't deny, that I was proud of the quality and organizational skills of those that added their expertise to this gigantic weekend.
There were so many celebratory events this past weekend; something for everyone, from musicians to face painters.
May all summer days be this successful and filled with fun and family.
Cheers to the DBI events coordinator, Mary Hultman and all the friends that made it possible.
