Hope you are enjoying this beautiful summer weather.
Between gardening, biking and teaching sewing classes, my schedule is keeping me on my toes.
I'm also gearing up for the much anticipated Quilt Expo in September. It's really not that far away when you think about it.
Last year, during Madison's Quilt Expo, I had the pleasure of meeting Bill Kerr; I came home with fabrics from his booth. If you don't know who he is, I will tell you that he is an artist and quilter extraordinaire!
Today, while researching accuquilt fabric dies for future workshops, I came across one that really caught my eye and I can't wait to try it out. If you are curious please check the link below.
Quick Overview (from accuquilt.com)
Create visually stunning circle quilts with GO! Local Color by Bill Kerr of Modern Quilt Studios. With AccuQuilt, you get accurate curved cuts fast and the notches on the die make the curves easy to piece with minimal pinning. Choose fabric colors that blend where the circles meet to create a transparency effect.
I hope you can join me on this adventure!
