A lovely handwritten note awaited me at home upon my return from work.
I have this habit of saving special notes; the ones that have uplifting messages. These notes and often times drawings, are absolutely priceless and always welcomed.
Today the note included a lovely message by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."
This is indeed the best quote i have read in months!
So it is that we get another chance tomorrow, one I'm humbly thankful for. I hold the future with optimism and joy!
